Systems Administrator

About the role

This role focuses on maintaining and configuring computer systems, Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, and networks to ensure reliable operations. The IT Systems Administrator will support both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure, providing technical support to end users while collaborating with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring system stability and security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade, and support core IT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain a high level of service.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments, managing user accounts and permissions.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect organizational data and ensure business continuity.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and security standards while managing endpoint protection.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration or a similar IT infrastructure role is required.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 is essential for this position.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, firewalls, switches, and VPNs, is required.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure, is a plus.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery tools and endpoint security platforms is necessary.
