About the role
Tutor Perini Corporation is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their office in Henderson, NV.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability and efficiency of the hybrid IT environment
- Manage core infrastructure, support identity and access services, maintain virtualization platforms, and contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity efforts
- Help improve operational workflows through automation and scripting
- Operate in a fast-paced environment supporting geographically dispersed teams and remote users
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Windows Server environments
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune
- Manage and operate VMware vSphere infrastructure
- Support and maintain HCI platforms
- Administer hybrid identity environments
- Implement and maintain backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions
- Maintain system performance, capacity, and availability
- Develop and maintain automation and scripting to streamline administrative tasks
- Document system configurations, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise applications and troubleshoot complex issues
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 platforms, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and related cloud services
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and familiarity with Nutanix HCI platforms
- Strong understanding of hybrid identity, including Entra ID (Azure AD), on-premises Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, and DHCP
- Demonstrated ability to support backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions in a hybrid environment
- Possess working knowledge of PowerShell or similar scripting languages to automate routine administrative tasks
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills across servers, cloud services, and virtualized workloads
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently or collaboratively within a distributed team
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and operational responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Industry certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator, VMware VCP, or Nutanix NCP are a plus
