Requirements
- Security+ Certification
- 10 years of experience as a System Administrator
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (5 additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree)
Responsibilities
- Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/network devices
- Manage IT system infrastructure, configuration, operation, and related processes
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification and diagnosis
- Support escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
Skills
- Windows 11: ability to troubleshoot various hardware issues
- Linux: experience with Ubuntu and Fedora
- Networking: experience with Juniper
- Windows Server: manage roles including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory (including Group Policy), Remote Desktop Services, and Hyper-V
- PowerShell scripting
Desired Experience
- Experience with Cisco and Dell networking systems
- Ability to upgrade code on Cisco and Juniper switches
- Strong Windows and Linux troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues
- HP Device Manager (understanding of RMM tools would be sufficient)
- Experience with Splunk, Zabbix, Syslog-ng
