Systems Administrator

About the Role

Leidos is searching for a highly skilled and driven System Administrator to take on a mission-critical role at Nellis Air Force Base, NV. You will be overseeing JWICS operations across Wing and subordinate unit SCIFs, ensuring seamless Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vital touch maintenance to install, configure, and sustain essential systems.
• Manage network storage, user privileges, local authentication servers, and spearhead contingency planning.
• Investigate malware, spyware, Trojans, and unauthorized software threats.
• Serve as the bridge between site users and Air Force cybersecurity teams, resolving network issues with precision and speed.
• Push patches, oversee system upgrades, and ensure compliance with critical security protocols.
• Advise on technical documentation, assisting government agencies in creating SSO documents, reports, and operational briefings.
• Safeguard sensitive data with advanced SCI security support functions while maintaining access to classified JWICS systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance (required to start).
• Security+ certification.
• Bachelor's and 10+ years of relevant experience (or 8+ years with a Master's degree). Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Deep knowledge of JWICS operations, Active Directory management, trouble ticketing tools, and security controls.
• Proactive mindset—anticipating problems rather than just solving them.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RMF & Xacta (highly desired).

Pay

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
