About the role
As a Systems Administrator, you will independently install, configure, maintain, and support enterprise IT systems across Windows, Linux, and Apple environments. You will support INTUITIVE’s core technology infrastructure, including servers, endpoints, applications, cloud services, and related systems throughout their operational lifecycle. This role will troubleshoot moderately complex technical issues and serve as an escalation point for problems requiring deeper systems expertise. You will perform system deployments, upgrades, maintenance, and security-related activities to help ensure technology remains reliable, secure, and available. You will take ownership of assigned systems and services while maintaining appropriate documentation and identifying opportunities to improve performance and efficiency. Working alongside other IT and cybersecurity professionals, you will contribute to technology projects, system implementations, and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and support enterprise IT systems across Windows, Linux, and Apple environments.
- Support core technology infrastructure, including servers, endpoints, applications, cloud services, and related systems.
- Troubleshoot moderately complex technical issues and serve as an escalation point for deeper systems expertise.
- Perform system deployments, upgrades, maintenance, and security-related activities.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency.
- Contribute to technology projects, system implementations, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Support enterprise printing and multifunction devices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a related technical field.
- 2 years of relevant systems administration or enterprise IT experience.
- Experience administering and supporting Windows systems in an enterprise environment.
- Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, endpoints, and peripheral devices.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Apple/macOS operating environments.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and services.
- Strong technical troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an IT team.
- Active in-scope Secret clearance.
