Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manages service calls by reporting, researching, diagnosing, and resolving problems to system and network infrastructure
- Reviews and monitors all servers and their related hardware and software to ensure reliable operation
- Prepares system backups for failures and escalates when necessary
- Provides maintenance of personal computers, laptops, and other computer equipment
- Creates and maintains user and email accounts as well as their related permissions
- Configures, tests, and maintains advanced IT systems, such as LAN/WAN circuits and equipment, wireless access points, business applications, etc.
- Compiles and presents electronically generated reports regarding accounting and financial systems
- Maintains the facility’s internal phone system by installing hardware and setting up new user accounts
- Utilizes project management skills to develop and implement detailed plans and monitor progress on a regular basis
- Trains staff in the use of new or changed systems and educates users to reduce recurring issues
- Implements and tests various network disaster recovery and failover scenarios
- Analyzes management needs regarding IT systems and recommends solutions to business problems
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Demonstrated working knowledge of software and web applications as well as system hardware
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field
- Three to five years of work experience in information technology or related field
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Talk or hear
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
- Exposure to smoke when on the floor of the gaming room
