Responsibilities

• Ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available
• Implement the best strategies for updating and patching critical systems
• Manage the infrastructure, architecture, security, and performance of our customer's systems and environments
• Provide insight into the network through monitoring and performance management
• Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network
• Turn metrics into information and explain their meaning to your team
• Help your team better understand the network by sharing your expertise through leadership and mentoring
• Identify new opportunities to modernize the network, enabling your clients to achieve their goals

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a system administration or network administration role in an Army, Service Component Command, Combatant Command, or Joint intelligence environment
• Experience providing Tiers I and II support for Windows-based systems, including user account and permissions, access control management, printer and device connectivity, basic workstation and network troubleshooting, system log analysis and error resolution, performance remediation, imaging and re-imaging, system and endpoint updates, and configuration changes
• Experience with basic administration of Cisco VTC or VoIP systems
• Problem-solving and communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical users and collaborate across multiple teams and external entities
• Ability to maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures, and provide reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in a professional work environment

Skills

• IAT Level II Certification or CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
