About the role
Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Systems Administrator in Herndon, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot cloud (AWS) implementation issues.
- Solve software (Linux) issues and software development.
- Proven success working as a DEVOPs systems engineer and technical admin.
- Agile Methodology and continuous improvement mindset.
- GitHub experience and other source control systems.
- Strict adherence to security standards and organizational requirements.
- Willingness to mentor and train other engineers as well as seek to continually improve processes.
Requirements
- 11+ years' experience in systems design and engineering.
- Ability to troubleshoot cloud (AWS) implementation issues.
- Solve software (Linux) issues and software development.
- Proven success working as a DEVOPs systems engineer and technical admin.
- Agile Methodology and continuous improvement mindset.
- GitHub experience and other source control systems.
- Strict adherence to security standards and organizational requirements.
- Willingness to mentor and train other engineers as well as seek to continually improve processes.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience working within AWS/Azure/cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience developing with Python.
- Hands-on experience developing with Ansible.
- Hands-on experience developing with Opentext NNMi.
- Hands-on experience developing with Cisco NSO.
- Strong DevOps focus and experience building and deploying infrastructure with cloud.
- Deployment technologies like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
- Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skills
- Experience with AWS/Azure/cloud environments.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with Ansible.
- Experience with Opentext NNMi.
- Experience with Cisco NSO.

Pay
The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $145,000 - 165,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
