Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a Systems Administrator in Herndon, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot cloud (AWS) implementation issues.
• Solve software (Linux) issues and software development.
• Proven success working as a DEVOPs systems engineer and technical admin.
• Agile Methodology and continuous improvement mindset.
• GitHub experience and other source control systems.
• Strict adherence to security standards and organizational requirements.
• Willingness to mentor and train other engineers as well as seek to continually improve processes.

Requirements

• 11+ years' experience in systems design and engineering.
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud (AWS) implementation issues.
• Solve software (Linux) issues and software development.
• Proven success working as a DEVOPs systems engineer and technical admin.
• Agile Methodology and continuous improvement mindset.
• GitHub experience and other source control systems.
• Strict adherence to security standards and organizational requirements.
• Willingness to mentor and train other engineers as well as seek to continually improve processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience working within AWS/Azure/cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience developing with Python.
• Hands-on experience developing with Ansible.
• Hands-on experience developing with Opentext NNMi.
• Hands-on experience developing with Cisco NSO.
• Strong DevOps focus and experience building and deploying infrastructure with cloud.
• Deployment technologies like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
• Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Skills

• Experience with AWS/Azure/cloud environments.

Pay

The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $145,000 - 165,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
