SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Full-time position, 40 hours per week. 3 openings available. Location: 53 Knights Bridge Rd, Suite 277, Piscataway, NJ 08854.

Responsibilities

• Middleware installation, administration, and support of Apache Tomcat, HTTPD, HAProxy, F5, and Spring Boot Java applications.
• Analyze and plan for optimization, and suggest necessary changes to database design using Oracle9i, MySQL, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, and JBoss.
• Interact with planning, engineering, and operations teams to understand next-generation network, services, and business processes.
• Apply Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS Kernel and application security vulnerability patching to comply with organizational security standards.
• Shell scripting (Perl, Python) for automation of administration tasks such as file system management, process management, and server reboots.
• Create, modify, and maintain file systems on Red Hat Linux and Solaris servers.
• Create root disk mirroring using ZFS file system on Solaris servers.
• Build new Virtual Machines for Red Hat 7.5.
• Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA is required.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Math, Engineering, or a closely related field with six (6) months of experience in the job offered or as an IT Consultant, IT Analyst, Developer, Programmer, or IT Engineer.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Math, Engineering, or a related field plus five years of progressive work experience in a related field.
• Six (6) months of experience with administration of Linux or Solaris systems.
• Travel and/or relocation to unanticipated client sites within the USA is required.

Pay

$189,592.00 per year.
