About the Role
Systems Administrator responsible for managing and supporting multi-platform operating systems, virtualized environments, and enterprise storage solutions.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support diverse OS environments, including Linux.
- Manage virtualized platforms and enterprise virtualization tools.
- Configure and maintain security systems, intrusion detection, and enterprise storage architectures.
- Create technical documentation and provide briefings to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of systems administration experience with a relevant technical degree, or 15+ years with an Associate's degree.
- Experience with software/hardware support for IT system development and testing.
- Proficiency in Linux, Splunk administration, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Perl.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware) and SANs.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, SaltStack, or Puppet.
- Knowledge of NiFi, cross-domain solutions, and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, DNS).
