About the role
You will report to the Platform Admin Team Manager. In this hands-on position, you will gather and analyze business requirements, develop future-state designs, write user stories, and deliver platform solutions across various business areas.
Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of complex business-level requirements and user stories, translating them into platform solutions and configurations with minimal supervision.
- Provide input in cross-functional sessions to assess requirements and propose innovative platform solution options.
- Ensure traceability of solutions back to performance goals and metrics.
- Define and configure prototype solutions.
- Configure and perform quality assurance for low to moderately complex solutions using best practices and low-code platform tools.
- Facilitate troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution to meet SLAs.
- Act as the liaison between IT and business areas to support extensions, service packs, and day-to-day operations, including end-user support, user access management, system configuration, and platform performance.
- Support Internal Audit and Compliance with their requirements for the supported platforms.
- Evaluate and analyze systems applications, recommending improvements and modifications to ensure optimal functioning.
- Leverage agile methodology and business solution design skills to drive business requirements workshops and story writing.
- Focus on understanding and improving business processes rather than simple lift-and-shift approaches.
- Conduct testing to validate the Salesforce platform is functioning as expected.
- Research, advise, and document best practices for Salesforce solutions, staying current on Salesforce.com releases and new features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of the Salesforce software platform with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
- Experience in platform administration, solutioning, configuration, product management, or technology implementation using agile SDLC protocols.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (required).
- Experience with source control tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Visual Studio, or Flosum.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in flow and process diagramming, presentations, and problem-solving.
Required Skills
- 2 years of Salesforce System Administrator experience.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator Certification.
- Agile delivery and cross-functional communication.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, or healthcare industry platforms.
- Experience with Flosum, Git, Copado, or Salesforce DevOps tooling.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II or Platform App Builder Certification.
