Systems Administrator 2

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through strategic solutions in Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

• Support a technology lab that dynamically implements technology to meet outside customers' uniquely defined evidence collection needs.
• Support a Department of Justice, FBI program, designing, building, and implementing highly technical data collection systems.
• Support Microsoft Group Policy Management (GPM) and Active Directory Domain Services by setting up and maintaining Group Policy Objects (GPO) in the customer’s Active Directory (AD) environment.
• Perform Systems Administration and/or Local Area Network support, concentrating on Active Directory Management.
• Directly interface with customers on support needs.
• Design, install, and/or maintain network components.
• Manage and/or maintain user and network configurations.
• Create and/or implement scripted management tools.
• Operate computer networks, identify and solve problems, and perform network restart/recovery.
• Recommend procurement, removals, and modifications to network and system components.
• Drive engagement with IT Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure development and deployment of solutions.
• Clearly communicate complex technical solutions with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Active Top-Secret Clearance.
• High School Diploma (HS) and 8+ years, Associate Degree (AS) and 6+ years, Bachelor’s Degree (BS) and 2+ years, or Master’s Degree (MS) and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• PowerShell experience (a plus).
• Skilled in Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, VMWare, and/or Cisco IOS.
• Able to implement PowerShell, Ansible, and/or Microsoft scripting solutions.
• Ability to support up to 5% CONUS travel.

Pay

The salary range for this position is USD $95,000.00/Yr. - USD $125,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
