Systems Administration SME Manufacturing Systems Location: Norton, MA Hybrid (3 days onsite/week) Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Systems Administrator to support the availability, configuration, performance, security, compliance, and lifecycle management of manufacturing and OT systems. The role will support MES, INFOR CMMS, AVEVA PI, PIMS, PlantPAX, TraceLink, NSIDE, and RTMS, working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Automation, IT, Quality, and Validation teams. Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing systems, applications, infrastructure, and integrations.Support system upgrades, patches, enhancements, interfaces, user access, audits, and lifecycle activities.Troubleshoot connectivity and integration issues between MES, automation, SAP, LIMS, historians, and other enterprise systems.Support incident, change control, periodic reviews, system recovery, and business continuity activities.Lead or support system implementation projects, including requirements, configuration, testing, deployment, cutover, and post-implementation support.Develop and maintain functional specifications, test plans, SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation.Support GMP/GxP, CSV, GAMP 5, data integrity, audits, deviations, and CAPA activities.Support manufacturing hardware including workstations, industrial PCs, Zebra printers, scanners, scales, and other plant equipment.Identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, reliability, and process optimization. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Automation, or related field.5+ years supporting manufacturing or regulated computerized systems.Hands-on experience with one or more of MES/PlantPAX, INFOR CMMS, AVEVA PI, PIMS, or RTMS.Experience in GMP/GxP pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or similar manufacturing environments.Strong knowledge of system administration, troubleshooting, integrations, user access, change control, testing, and lifecycle management.Experience with PlantPAX/SCADA, SAP, LIMS, databases, APIs/web services, Windows Server, and virtualized environments is preferred.Strong troubleshooting, documentation, project coordination, and cross-functional communication skills.Willingness to provide occasional off-hours, weekend, or on-call support. Must be willing to work onsite in Norton, MA 3 days per week.
