About the Opportunity
The Systems Administration Senior Associate role is responsible for managing and supporting the organization's IT systems and infrastructure, with an emphasis on cloud and on-premises environments. This position plays a key role in maintaining system reliability, security, and disaster recovery capabilities, directly contributing to the seamless operation of technology that supports the organization's health care services.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Linux, Microsoft Server, and enterprise email systems.
- Support security initiatives and participate in infrastructure security control reviews.
- Perform system installation, maintenance, monitoring, configuration, recovery, and updates.
- Manage enterprise data protection platforms including backup, recovery, archival, and cloud storage solutions.
- Design and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity solutions; lead disaster recovery planning and exercises.
- Coordinate change control logistics and incident notifications.
- Manage vendor relationships, technical assessments, renewals, and procurement support.
- Develop and maintain policies, standards, procedures, operational documentation, and recovery runbooks.
- Provide backup support for routine IT inquiries and assist the IT team as needed.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and professional correspondence.
- Support annual audits and compliance activities.
- Participate in special projects and contribute to continuous technical learning and cross-training.
- Maintain understanding of organizational structure and operational objectives.
- Participate in on-call rotation and work outside standard business hours when required.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree.
- Three to five years of experience in systems administration or related field.
- Technical competence in at least two relevant technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Entra, Terraform, Linux, Microsoft Server, or enterprise backup/storage platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
