Systems Admin SR

Responsibilities

• Daily management of the ServiceNow dashboard
• Providing clear communication during and after troubleshooting incident tickets
• Ensuring quick resolution times for incidents and requests through the facility
• Collaborating with other BAE IT groups to ensure IT assets meet security compliance standards
• Serving as an escalation point for other System Administrators
• Leading projects, initiatives, or audits from an IT perspective to ensure a positive outcome for the stakeholders that is on time and on budget
• Involving other required IT teams, vendors, etc.
• Creating, deploying, and maintaining server infrastructure
• Creating and maintaining documentation
• Leading as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in an area that may be required by your manager to fill out an area of weakness in the team
• Working with stakeholders, especially engineering and vendors, to ensure all test stands and production equipment is working as expected, delivering excellent IT service
• Working as a temporary people-leader if needed

Requirements

• Typically High School Diploma with 8+ years experience or equivalent experience
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Leadership capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience or equivalent experience
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Server Virtualization and Management
• Backup Infrastructure Management
• Networking Fundamentals (VLANs, Protocols, IPv4 Configurations)
• Experience with a wide range of Windows OSs (Windows 98 to Windows 11)
• Windows PowerShell Scripting experience

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
