System Test Engineering Manager

About the role

8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years directly managing teams of 20+ (30–50 preferred).

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
• Proven success hiring, developing, and retaining top U.S. engineering talent
• Excellent English communication skills with inter-personal skills
• Experience leading across U.S. sites and time zones; comfort with matrixed organizations

People Management

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 30–50 engineers and program managers across U.S. sites
• Own the full people lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, performance, career development, and succession planning
• Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture grounded in accountability and collaboration

Hardware Program Execution

• Oversee long-term hardware programs: timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resourcing
• Anticipate and mitigate risks through structured prioritization
• Ensure executive visibility through clear governance and reporting cadence

Mandatory Skills

• VLSI Board Design (8–10 years)

Pay

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $180,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
