System Test Engineer *Clearance Required*
About the role
The System Test Engineer Sr is responsible for reviewing system requirements, security requirements, and design documentation to identify testable components and create traceability. They define test scope, identify test cases, and establish test methodologies. They also execute system, integration, and end-to-end testing for cybersecurity-focused systems and services, document test results, and ensure compliance with internal and DoW testing standards.
Responsibilities
- Review system requirements, security requirements, and design documentation to identify testable components and create traceability.
- Define test scope, identify test cases, and establish test methodologies.
- Create comprehensive testing documentation to ensure thorough and consistent testing.
- Determine the most critical areas for testing and focus resources accordingly.
- Execute system, integration, and end-to-end testing for cybersecurity-focused systems and services.
- Document test results, maintain test evidence, and ensure compliance with internal and DoW testing standards.
- Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers and engineers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Travel: Up to 50%, for 1-2 weeks in duration to Hanscom AFB and Oklahoma City.
- Experience troubleshooting at the system level (hardware and software).
- Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Ability to read and interpret technical requirements, architecture diagrams, and security documentation.
- Strong understanding of system, integration, and functional testing practices.

Benefits
NGG modernizes existing DAF infrastructure to provide Zero Trust Capabilities. The NGG implementation must be capable of sustaining a throughput of 40Gb/s (threshold)/ 100Gb/s (objective) at the CEDCs and 10Gb/s (threshold)/ 40Gb/s (objective) at the base boundary (Main Operating Bases).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.46 - $52.46/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
