BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an SAP BRIM -System Specialist to work in the Middletown, PA area. This is a full-time position with at least 2 days on-site and possibly 3 days remote.
About the Role
BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an SAP BRIM -System Specialist to support day-to-day operations and user enablement for SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) and SAP S/4HANA solutions.Responsibilities
- Operations & Configuration Support - Assist with BRIM/S/4HANA configuration per approved designs; update parameters and Fiori catalogs/roles.
- Support transport coordination and basic troubleshooting across DEV/TEST/PROD.
- Access & Security - Process user provisioning and role changes; enforce RBAC and segregation of duties checks. Handle encryption/tokenization procedures and secure payment flow verifications (PCI DSS).
- Monitoring & Performance - Monitor jobs, queues, and interfaces (IDoc/ALE, RFC, OData/REST) and escalate exceptions. Track SLAs and capture performance metrics; assist with housekeeping tasks and minor tuning.
- Integration & Release Readiness - Support SAP BTP/CPI interface checks, certificate renewals, and endpoint validations. Prepare release notes; coordinate SIT/UAT schedules and change windows with project teams.
- Data Migration & Cutover Assistance - Execute checklists for delta loads, reconciliation, and dress rehearsals to minimize downtime. Validate data integrity for migrated transactions and customer dispute workflows.
- Documentation & Audit - Maintain SOPs, configuration baselines, access reviews, and incident records in audit ready form. Update knowledge articles and how to guides for business users and support staff.
- User Support & Training - Provide Level 1/2 support for BRIM/Fiori usage; triage incidents in ServiceNow and route as needed. Deliver quick tips and job aids to improve user experience and adoption.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4–5 years in enterprise systems support, including 2+ years with SAP environments.
- Working knowledge of SAP BRIM modules (SOM, CI; familiarity with CC) and SAP S/4HANA operations.
- Experience with user/role management, transports, and interface monitoring (IDoc, RFC, OData).
- Understanding of PCI DSS and SOC1/SOC2 controls; secure handling of PII and payment data.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow (ITSM) and Azure DevOps (ADO) or JIRA for change and release tracking.
Preferred Skills
- SAP BRIM/S/4HANA or SAP Basis certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience with SAP BTP (API Management, Event Mesh) and SAP CPI interface operations.
- Familiarity with HANA health checks, backups, and basic performance analysis.
- Knowledge of mediation systems used for usage capture and rating integrations.
- Strong customer service, documentation, and communication skills; Hybrid Agile exposure.
