System Reliability and Compliance Engineer (NERC)

Responsibilities

• Develop NERC FAC and PRC studies using design and testing data from system protection, system studies, substation, and SCADA.
• Support audits related to NERC compliance.
• Manage and track various NERC aspects of projects.
• Answer technical questions and write bid proposals/estimates for transmission, substation, and generation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent degree in engineering technology, engineering physics, or mathematics).
• 6+ years direct experience in electrical power, fossil, hydro, renewable generation, or transmission and substations.
• Experience in NERC compliance associated with System Protection and Substation Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules.
