Responsibilities
- Develop NERC FAC and PRC studies using design and testing data from system protection, system studies, substation, and SCADA.
- Support audits related to NERC compliance.
- Manage and track various NERC aspects of projects.
- Answer technical questions and write bid proposals/estimates for transmission, substation, and generation projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent degree in engineering technology, engineering physics, or mathematics).
- 6+ years direct experience in electrical power, fossil, hydro, renewable generation, or transmission and substations.
- Experience in NERC compliance associated with System Protection and Substation Engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules.
