System Network Administrator 1 with Database Experience with Security Clearance

About the role

Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices.
• Provides Tier 2 (Escalation) and Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Supports escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Supports the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
• Configures and manages virtual and storage environments.
• Administers Linux and Windows operating systems; installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, and maintains integrity.
• Configures virtual, storage, and network components.
• Implements operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with virtual and storage environments.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating system administration.
• Experience configuring virtual, storage, and network components.
• Database experience (per role title).
• Tier 2/Tier 3 escalation and problem resolution experience.
• Hardware troubleshooting and dispatch system support experience.
