System Integration/Test Engineer with Security Clearance

About the role

RRTL Networks, Inc. is seeking a DoD SECRET cleared System Integration/Test Engineer to support the Space and Ground segments of a military satellite communications program.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of IT solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation, and support.
• Cook up, develop, and integrate new systems in both physical and virtualized environments.
• Develop and install upgrades to existing systems.
• Experience with supporting Windows operating systems.
• COTS software deployment experience.
• Develop scripts to improve system administration and deployment automation:
• Experience writing scripts
• Familiarity with automation tools / scripting
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting (ability to read/understand existing scripts)
• Troubleshoot issues and provide support across the information system.
• Strong understanding and application of cybersecurity practices (STIG compliance, system accreditation, etc.).
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Must meet DoD 8570 Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) criteria or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification at time of hire (i.e., Security+).
• Advanced degree and 3+ years' experience or bachelors with 5+ years' experience or equivalent.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.

Security Clearance Requirements

• Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.
• US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.
• The applicant selected for this position must have and be able to maintain an Active Security Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Applicants must have a valid driver's license for this position and will be subject to verification.
• Chosen applicants must pass pre-employment drug screening, credit review, and a criminal background check.

Benefits

RTL Networks offers a competitive compensation package including a salary range of $130,000 - $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RTL Networks considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
