System Integration Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure interoperability between JIRA and GitLab by configuring automated workflows for task tracking, reporting, and approvals.
• Establish authentication integrations with the sponsoring Command’s Microsoft Active Directory (Azure AD) to enforce CAC/PIV-based access controls in accordance with DoD identity management policies.
• Submit the System Interoperability & Security Integration Report, documenting authentication measures, security compliance, and integration workflows.

Requirements

• Experience: Possess the knowledge and capability to integrate JIRA, GitLab, and other IT service management tools, ensuring seamless data synchronization and workflow automation; proficient in API integrations, system interoperability, and secure authentication protocols; strong scripting and automation skills to streamline data exchange between platforms; demonstrated experience in integrating ITSM platforms, developing API-based solutions, and ensuring secure identity federation; experience with OAuth, SAML, and enterprise authentication protocols.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in system integration.
• Desirable but not required certifications: ITIL Foundation Certification or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect.
• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Location: Doral, Florida (USSOUTHCOM Headquarters).
