Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with 3+ years of professional experience in a related discipline, a Master's degree from an accredited college with 1+ years of professional experience in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Demonstrated SW Test engineering experience
Demonstrated experience writing test procedures
Experience using RedHat Enterprise Linux via Command Line Interface (CLI)
Ability to learn necessary skills through hands on experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; Quick thinker, fast learner/Proactive, problem solver, creative, critical thinking skills.
Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

WHO WE ARE
Lockheed Martin (LM) Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is looking for engineering professionals to work on the Trusted Security Solutions (TSS) program to engineer Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) products.

Radiant Mercury is the US Navy's premier CDS product and LM has been the prime contractor for over 20 years. What We’re Doing
We engineer innovative solutions to deliver resilient systems, products, and services across evolving cyber threats. Strong, resiliency-focused engineering is essential to protecting customer platform/weapon systems from increasingly sophisticated threats. The Radiant Mercury program delivers secure cross-domain solutions to our customers, enabling the controlled transfer of information between different security domains.

THE WORK
The primary work location is at the Deer Creek Facility (DCF) in Littleton, Colorado with limited ability to work remotely. The candidate will primarily be required to come into the office to conduct their work.

  • Design, develop, and maintain formal Test Procedures to verify requirements are met by the software.
  • Create new, manually executed procedures for new software features.
  • Update existing test procedures when the software changes.
  • Identify efficiency improvements.
  • Automate when possible.
  • Maintain test support artifacts.
  • Create/update test packages (rpms) required by Test Procedures, to include test messages, test configurations, operating system configuration, test setup, etc.
  • Configuration control items in Git.
  • Maintain requirements baseline and compliance in DOORS
  • Update requirements baseline to align with periodic Government releases
  • Maintain functional requirements (add/delete/update)
  • Maintain compliance status and test procedure linkage
  • Perform integration testing to informally test new features or verify bug resolution.
  • Work with the software team to write bugs and resolve issues.
  • Work in an Agile development environment.
  • Participate in software feature design reviews and planning meetings.
  • Attend daily scrum meetings.
