System Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical direction for next-generation wired networking hardware, including multi-gigabit Ethernet switches and high-port-count PoE PSEs.
• Define hardware system architecture and technical requirements for various form factors.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure successful integration and optimization of hardware components.
• Partner with software teams to ensure hardware capabilities are fully accessible to customers.
• Lead technical design reviews, participate in board bring-up, and drive resolution of complex system-level issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in system-level hardware design for wired networking products.
• 5+ years of experience as a hardware technical lead, driving hardware designs from architecture definition through production readiness.
• Direct experience with networking ASIC or packet processor integration.
• Experience with high-speed serial interface design and SerDes tuning.
• Understanding of PoE system design and power delivery architectures.

Pay

Competitive annual salary ($157,900 - $213,600) plus potential for sign-on bonuses and restricted stock units.
