Job#: 3050140 Job Description: Apex Systems is seeking a candidate with RedHat OpenShift administrator experience to oversee the health, performance, and stability of OpenShift clusters and support a team delivering custom applications for the U.S. Government. We are looking for a professional with relevant experience and a desire to work as part of a small, agile team supporting existing applications. Monitor cluster health and performance while troubleshooting and fixing node or application errors. Configure security settings, user access rules, and network policies to protect the cluster. Perform regular updates, software patches, and system backups to keep the platform stable Required Skills 1+ year of proven experience managing and deploying OpenShift environments3-5 years of proven experience with Linux administration and in-depth knowledge of KubernetesBachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems) or years of experience Desired Skills Proficient in OpenShift and Rancher Kubernetes fundamentalsLinux administration (especially RHEL)Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) experience Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
