System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide system engineering support for a Human Resource Applications and Services organization’s software development team.
• Primary responsibilities will be acting as the direct liaison between Government leadership and the development team to establish priorities, facilitate agile processes, communicate with team members, the Government and end user customers.
• Work with the technical team and Government leadership to prepare schedule inputs, communicate dependencies, impediments, and risks and communicate with Freedom Program Management team.
• Tackle challenges and collaborate in a fast-paced, highly visible team environment.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
• A bachelor’s degree and fourteen (14) years' experience as an SE is required. Nineteen (19) years’ experience as an SE may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Experience as a system engineer on a software development team with diverse skillsets and experience levels
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Willingness to learn and develop a strong understanding of new technologies and products
• Experience developing and updating technical documentation including project schedules
• Experience with requirements management to include working with customers to capture clear definition of done

Qualifications

Desired:

• Experience with Atlassian Suite products including Confluence & Managing Jira
• Strong project leadership skills to include identifying opportunities, risks and communicating with all levels of contractor and Government leadership.

Pay

The estimated salary range for this position is between $185,000-$215,000 (annualized USD).
