About the role

The role supports a high priority and highly visible malware analysis modernization program. The team applies Agile methodology, DevOps principles and test-driven development practices.

Responsibilities

• Supports a large software development program developing, operating, and maintaining mission critical enterprise capabilities.
• Applies Agile methodology, DevOps principles and test-driven development practices.
• Manages infrastructure users and hosts using RedHat FreeIPA identity management system.
• Manages VMware ESXi hypervisors and vCenter appliances.
• Architects and deploys network solutions with Cisco switches and routers.
• Diagnoses and resolves complex connectivity issues, outages, and network bottlenecks.
• Performs Cisco upgrades, applies patches, and optimizes network efficiency.
• Manages Kubernetes RKE2 clusters.
• Manages Pure Storage/Everpure arrays and VMware vSAN.
• Manages MongoDB database clusters (desired).
• Manages Trellis FireEye VX, AX, and CM appliances (desired).

Requirements

• Expert Linux system administrator proficient in troubleshooting server problems, managing virtual and baremetal servers, RedHat Satellite, and enforcing STE/STN policies.
• Experience managing infrastructure users and hosts using RedHat FreeIPA identity management system.
• VMware experience managing ESXi hypervisors and vCenter appliances.
• Proficient at architecting and deploying network solutions with Cisco switches and routers.
• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex connectivity issues, outages, and network bottlenecks.
• Skilled at performing Cisco upgrades, applying patches, and optimizing network efficiency.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
• Familiarity with Atlassian platform (Confluence, Jira) and GitLab.
• Strong skills managing Pure Storage/Everpure arrays and VMware vSAN.
• Experience managing Kubernetes RKE2 clusters.
• Experience managing MongoDB database clusters (desired).
• Experience managing Trellis FireEye VX, AX, and CM appliances (desired).

Qualifications

Required qualifications include:

• Expert Linux system administrator proficiency.
• RedHat Satellite and STE/STN policies enforcement experience.
• FreeIPA identity management system experience.
• VMware ESXi hypervisor and vCenter appliance management experience.
• Cisco switch and router network solution architecture and deployment experience.
• Complex connectivity issue diagnosis and resolution experience.
• Cisco upgrade, patch application, and network optimization experience.
• Infrastructure troubleshooting experience.
• Atlassian platform (Confluence, Jira) and GitLab management experience.
• Pure Storage/Everpure array and VMware vSAN management experience.
• Kubernetes RKE2 cluster management experience.
• MongoDB database cluster management experience (desired).
• Trellis FireEye VX, AX, and CM appliance management experience (desired).
