System Engineer 5

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with Apache NiFi expertise to join a team who automates the flow of data between software systems. The individual will work to provide solutions which enable Data Transformation, Processing and Analytic Solutions. Data from various sensors is ingested, transformed into standard formats, and enriched to improve knowledge and optimize analytic capabilities to achieve mission objectives and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams as a key contributor responsible for the design, test, and implementation of advanced cybersecurity-oriented capabilities
• Develop and perform automated builds, testing, and deployments in support of NiFi development
• Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts
• Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives
• Responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288

Requirements

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
• Current (within 7 years) poly and/or currently possess the minimum level of PRIVAC required for this role (NSYS)

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience. OR A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general system engineering experience. OR A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience. OR A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.

Skills

• NiFi, experience with customer data flow architecture
• Prior knowledge and experience with Cyber and Cybersecurity data
• Experience with ingesting opensource cyber data into IC data architectures

Pay

$50.96 - $139.68 an hour Pay Range: $50.96 - $ 1 39.68 per hour*
