Responsibilities
As a System DIR - Laboratory Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing laboratory operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
- Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to improve laboratory processes and outcomes.
- Managing laboratory staff and ensuring their professional development and performance.
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance laboratory efficiency and patient care.
- Ensuring the laboratory meets accreditation requirements and maintains high-quality standards.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, healthcare administration).
- At least 5 years of experience in laboratory management or a related field.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing laboratory staff.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and accreditation standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will also possess:
- Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS).
- Knowledge of quality assurance and improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and accreditation processes.
