System DIR - Laboratory Operations

Responsibilities

As a System DIR - Laboratory Operations, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing laboratory operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
  • Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to improve laboratory processes and outcomes.
  • Managing laboratory staff and ensuring their professional development and performance.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance laboratory efficiency and patient care.
  • Ensuring the laboratory meets accreditation requirements and maintains high-quality standards.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, healthcare administration).
  • At least 5 years of experience in laboratory management or a related field.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing laboratory staff.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS).
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and accreditation processes.
