System Change Manager
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Change Manager to join our SPRINT Next program team in San Antonio, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Leading and facilitating Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings alongside program leadership and technical teams
- Working closely with the Configuration Manager in a collaborative and fast-paced classified defense environment in San Antonio, Texas
- Applying expertise in SCM tools and change management best practices to continuously improve program processes and outcomes
- Playing a key role in managing and driving enterprise-wide system change processes that directly impact national security missions on the SPRINT Next program
Requirements
- Current or active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required with ability to obtain a Polygraph is required at time of hire
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Proven hands-on experience managing System Change Requests (SCRs) through the full change lifecycle, from submission and review through approval and deployment
- Strong working knowledge of Software Configuration Management (SCM) tools and applications, including the ability to evaluate and recommend the best options for program use
- Solid experience supporting and executing CCB, CAB, and Technical Review Board (TRB) meetings with strong organizational and documentation skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Skills
- ITIL Certification and/or Agile SCRUM Master Certification are highly desired
- Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII) further highlights your commitment to the discipline
- Experience developing and maintaining change implementation plans including validation steps, escalation procedures, and rollback methods
- Ability to deliver clear and concise weekly status reports on planned and unplanned changes to program leadership
- Must meet DoD 8570.1/8140 certification requirements at the IAT Level II baseline or above
Pay
Target salary range: USD $106,477.00/Yr. - USD $115,212.00/Yr.

This position is based 100% on-site in San Antonio, Texas.
