Change Manager

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for product design changes and the effects of the overall system. They will assist in documenting and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications. They will ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Aid in documenting and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications.
• Ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations.
• Prepare deviations and waivers for government approval when specifications cannot be met.
• Review all issued document change requests, document change notices, and associated drawings for accuracy, completeness, and proper signatures.
• Structure and maintain databases.
• Submit engineering changes to customers for review and approval; maintain records and submit reports regarding status.
• Prepare configuration verification audit record sheets for all programs.
• Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of our IT infrastructure.
• Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Manage the deployment and configuration of Windows operating systems, applications, and software updates to client devices.
• Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts.
• Represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
• Provide technical support to other IT teams and end-users.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of work center specific tactics, techniques, and procedures, including configuration settings and troubleshooting procedures.
• Share knowledge and best practices with other IT teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:

• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations Certification version 4.0 and/or 5.0
• ITIL version 3 Release, Control, and Validation (RCV) Certification
• Prior experience with BMC Remedy ITSRM version 9.x and/or ServiceNow IT Service Management
• Prior experience with BMC Remedy ITRSM Change Management Console and/or ServiceNow Change Module
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five (5) years or more experience
• Master's degree and three (3) years or more experience

Minimum Clearance Required: TS/SCI Clearance
