About the role

The executive cabinet assistant supports the executive in achieving their strategic priorities and business goals. They manage the office of the executive, facilitating their productivity and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the executive’s time, focus, and priorities in line with strategic objectives and short-term goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships throughout the organization to provide business intelligence and data.
  • Coordinate and direct the day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives of the executives’ office.
  • Manage and prepare all correspondence, agendas, minutes, and reports, coordinating with the organization’s communication team.
  • Oversee heavy executive calendars, ensuring strategic time management of schedules related to travel, commitments, and organizational strategy.
  • Screens communication and works on difficult assignments requiring judgment and strategic recommendations.
  • Conducts research for the executive and team initiatives or projects as directed.
  • Provides guidance to other administrative staff within established work area best practices and guidelines.
  • Oversees special projects and events on behalf of the executive and team as needed.
  • Determines methods and procedures for new assignments.
  • Possesses advanced office software skills and leads in adopting new technologies for preparing Microsoft PowerPoints for meeting presentations, preparing agendas for senior executives' meetings, taking notes, and distributing minutes.
  • Travels when needed to assist the executive at meetings and events.

Requirements

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent.
  • Preferred Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience in an executive support role.
  • Five years' experience in executive assistant support.

  • Buils and maintains strong relationships throughout the organization to provide the necessary business intelligence and data.
  • Coordinates and directs the day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives of the executives’ office.
  • Manages and prepares all correspondence, agendas, minutes, and reports, coordinating with the organization’s communication team.
  • Oversees heavy executive calendars, ensuring strategic time management of overall schedules as they relate to long-term travel, commitments, and organizational strategy.
  • Screens communication and works on difficult assignments, requiring judgment in resolving issues or making strategic recommendations.
  • Conducts research for the executive and team initiatives or projects as directed.
  • Provides guidance to other administrative staff within the latitude of established work area best practices and guidelines.
  • Oversees special projects and events on behalf of the executive and team as needed.
  • Determines methods and procedures for new assignments.
  • Possesses advanced office software skills and leads in adopting new technologies for preparing Microsoft PowerPoints for meeting presentations, preparing agendas for senior executives' meetings, taking notes, and distributing minutes.
  • Travels when needed to assist the executive at meetings and events.

Pay

The estimated base pay for this position is $85,336 to $128,004. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

Schedule

This role is full-time and operates on an 8-hour shift.
