System Architect - AI and Rack-Scale Systems Architect
Job Responsibilities
Lead the architectural design and development of scalable and robust AI and rack-scale systems, including hardware and software components.
Evaluate, select, and integrate various AI acceleration technologies (e.g., GPUs, TPUs, FPGAs) and high-performance interconnects.
Define system requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and partners to ensure successful implementation and deployment of architectural solutions.
Develop technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guides.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing.
Participate in pre-sales activities, including technical presentations and solution demonstrations to prospective clients.
Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide expert-level support.
Contribute to the development of intellectual property and innovative solutions.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
10+ years of experience in system architecture, with a strong focus on AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing.
Proven experience designing and implementing rack-scale systems, including compute, storage, and networking components.
Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their deployment on various hardware platforms.
Expertise in GPU computing architectures (e.g., NVIDIA CUDA) and other AI accelerators.
Strong knowledge of high-performance interconnect technologies (e.g., InfiniBand, Ethernet, NVLink).
Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., VMware, Kubernetes, Docker).
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Pay
$179K to 225K DOE
