System Analyst II- NOC

About the role

This role is on-site in Richland, WA as part of the OSC Technical Solutions Infrastructure organization. The position supports the Hanford Accreditation Boundary, including the Hanford Local Area Network (HLAN) Information System, Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and other enclaves.

Responsibilities

• Technical support for core network infrastructure, authentication services, servers, storage, Internet, VDI, and other HLAN resources, facilities, and enclaves.
• Analysis and troubleshooting of network, server, and application issues to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Infrastructure analysis and proactive management to ensure high uptime availability of systems.
• Tracking, documenting, and reporting network incidents and outages.
• Production control job batch processing using Control-M Application.
• Responding to production impacting incidents and collaborating with other technical teams.
• Evaluating new solutions and recommending procurements of hardware and software.
• Supporting disaster recovery and continuity of operations exercises.
• Maintaining security and integrity controls.
• Preparing technical documentation, training material, and reports.
• Providing cyber security incident handling support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
• Ability to obtain Department of Energy access badge.
• Ability to work shift work in a 24/7/365 environment.
