About the role
As a Systems Administrator, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing secure IT environments for a mission-driven customer. You'll manage Active Directory accounts, perform system security administration, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, and ensure system performance through resource monitoring and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Manage Active Directory accounts
- Perform system security administration
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Ensure system performance through resource monitoring and optimization
- Plan, test, install, and integrate new and upgraded operating systems, third-party software, and subsystems
- Maintain custom software
- Support a variety of technologies to keep critical systems running efficiently and securely
Requirements
- Windows Active Directory Windows Server administration
- Maintenance and integration of third-party software and subsystems
- Experience with VMWare, Storage solutions, Cross domain solutions
- Experience with SCCM (Systems Center Configuration Management) and SCOM (Systems Center Operations Manager)
Qualifications
- Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or CASP (customer-approved security certification required)
Skills
- Windows Active Directory
- Windows Server administration
- Maintenance and integration of third-party software and subsystems
- Experience with VMWare, Storage solutions, Cross domain solutions
