System Administrator/Tallahassee, FL(Onsite)

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to assist in the oversight, management, troubleshooting, and execution of cloud services and platforms that support infrastructure, applications, data, and other business needs. This role involves broad responsibilities, including architecting, designing, facilitating, and leading technology initiatives across infrastructure administration, application development, data management, cybersecurity, external hosting, identity and access management, network, security hardening, privacy, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Add and remove authorized users, archive files, and oversee password protection and security measures.
• Monitor usage of shared resources and manage Microsoft 365 environments and other Microsoft platforms, identity platforms, and multi-cloud environments.
• Select, develop, integrate, and implement network management applications for Internet components.
• Provide daily operations support, maintenance, and administration for servers, handling projects, systems, and issues of medium to high complexity.
• Own complex issues to support departmental business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or technical institute degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years of experience with Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• 2–3 years of IIS Administration experience.
• 2–3 years of experience with network communications, including TCP/IP, DNS, Samba/CIFS file sharing, and NTFS permissions.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in AWS cloud systems (required).
• 2–3 years of professional experience in Microsoft Azure cloud systems (highly desired).
• 2–3 years of experience with other cloud providers, such as GCP (highly desired).
• 2–3 years of professional experience in the administration of Microsoft software (highly desired).
• 3–5 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in systems operations, support, maintenance, and administration.
• 3–5 years of professional experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services (highly desired).
• 5–8 years of professional experience in information systems engineering or a related field (required).
