System Administrator (RC-3-CO)

About the Role
We are seeking a System Administrator to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. This role includes Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution, as well as managing daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems. The position involves assisting users, optimizing system operations, and performing capacity analysis and planning.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of IT systems.
- Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems, including client/server/storage/network devices.
- Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
- Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for IT systems.
- Escalate and communicate system status to management and internal customers.
- Optimize system operations, resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Troubleshoot IT systems and provide detailed analysis and feedback for escalated tickets.
- Support dispatch systems and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install/load software, troubleshoot, and maintain network components.
- Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Linux and Windows system administration experience.
- Experience with patching, IAVAs, and Bash scripting.
- Some experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- At least ten (10) years of related work experience.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required; five (5) years of equivalent experience may be substituted for a total of fifteen (15) years of experience.

Pay
Salary Range: $170,000–$200,000, depending on experience.
