About the role
The System Administrator, Level I, II, III is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the IT infrastructure of the organization. This includes managing server operations, network administration, and ensuring data security.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain servers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Administer network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and manage security protocols to protect company data.
- Perform routine backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
