System Administrator III

About the role

ProSync Technology Group, LLC (ProSync) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator (SA) with extensive experience in supporting Linux-based systems and a solid foundation in Windows environments. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Linux systems, be adept at navigating and managing Windows-based applications and services, and have a strong grasp of DevOps processes, particularly automation (Ansible) and CI/CD practices. Expertise in Containerization technologies, specifically Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications, is essential. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a noteworthy background in hyperconverged infrastructure solutions, including familiarity with various advanced systems and technologies such as Azure Stack HCI, Cisco HyperFlex Systems, DataCore SANsymphony, Dell VxRail Hyperconverged Infrastructure, HPE SimpliVity, Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), NetApp HCI, and the Scale Computing Platform.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Linux-based systems
• Navigate and manage Windows-based applications and services
• Implement and manage DevOps processes, including automation (Ansible) and CI/CD practices
• Manage and optimize hyperconverged infrastructure solutions, including Kubernetes orchestration
• Familiarize and operate with a variety of advanced systems and technologies such as Azure Stack HCI, Cisco HyperFlex Systems, DataCore SANsymphony, Dell VxRail Hyperconverged Infrastructure, HPE SimpliVity, Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), NetApp HCI, and the Scale Computing Platform

Requirements

• 15 years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or 5 years of additional SA experience
• An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level II or higher baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M
• Experience with Docker and Containerization to include Kubernetes
• Other technologies: Ansible, ProxMox, Centrify, Harvester, Rancher
• A Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
