System Administrator II (HPC - Infrastructure)

About the role

Responsible for managing and maintaining high-performance computing infrastructure, ensuring system stability and availability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor HPC systems, including servers, storage, and networking components.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect data and systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Document procedures and best practices for efficient system management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration or similar role.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and HPC environments.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• $80,000 - $90,000 annually
