About the role

AHPC System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining high-performance computing systems. This includes system administration tasks, monitoring system health, and ensuring optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain high-performance computing systems
  • Monitor system health and performance
  • Implement and manage system updates and patches
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system availability and reliability
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in system administration or related field
  • Experience with HPC systems and technologies
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Experience with system monitoring tools and performance analysis

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of HPC architectures and technologies
  • Experience with system management tools such as Puppet, Ansible, or Chef
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
