System Administrator I (Infrastructure and Sustainment)

About the role

Responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure and sustainment of the company’s IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage server operations and ensure high availability of critical applications.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols.
• Perform routine system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix administration and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
