System Administrator

About the role

The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of all systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update software and hardware systems
• Provide technical support to users
• Perform routine system backups and disaster recovery procedures
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
• Implement security measures to protect data and systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or administration
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and network management tools
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Passion for staying current with technological advancements

Skills

• Technical proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Experience with database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices

$80,000 - $100,000 annually
