Job Description

As a Systems Administrator, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role in providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Education: Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Experience: 10+ years of related experience
• Technical skills: Linux, Bash Scripting, HPC, Storage Fabric/Networking
• Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
• US citizenship required

Role Requirements

• Configuration and management of Linux operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
