Roles & Responsibilities
- Configuring and maintaining the networked computer system, including hardware, system software, and applications.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.
- Replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary.
- Making sure the system performs well and stays secure.
- Looking into ways to make the networked computer system better.
- Helping people who need it with computer problems.
- Writing down how things should be done in the computing system.
- Evaluating how stable, safe, and fast the installed Windows systems are.
- Installing or changing Windows systems and servers.
- Helping people who use the computing system.
- Solving computer and server problems.
- Checking system and user reports about problems.
- Maintaining the Windows codebase.
Educational Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Proven work experience as a Windows Administrator is preferred.
- Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
- Ability to create scripts in PowerShell, Python, and similar languages.
- Experience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.
- Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.
- Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
