Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize system/server performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability by analyzing logs and tuning resources.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability issues, perform repairs on faulty hardware, and resolve complex technical problems as needed.
- Develop, document, and comply with systems administration standard operating procedures, manuals, and architecture diagrams.
- Maintain accurate inventories of IT equipment, licenses, and hardware.
- Administer user accounts, manage network rights, security permissions, and access to systems and equipment.
- Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy, perform regular backups, and implement disaster recovery procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
- Participate in audits, examinations, and risk remediation efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 4–5 years of system administration experience in financial services, credit union, or regulated environment.
- System administrator certifications (Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA or equivalent) preferred.
- Network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCSP or equivalent) preferred.
