About the role
The Mid-Level System Administrator (SA2) will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems, manage IT system infrastructure, and related processes. This role includes day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Support IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
- Escalate and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
- Support the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install/load OS software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components.
- Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Provide in-depth troubleshooting for IT systems.
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback for escalated tickets to agency management and internal customers.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph.
- Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (five (5) years of additional SA experience may substitute for the degree).

Pay
Salary range: $116,000 to $124,000.
