About the role

Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/network devices. Manage IT system infrastructure, configuration, operation, and related processes. Offer Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification and diagnosis. Support escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Windows 11 hardware issues
• Administer Linux systems (Ubuntu, Fedora)
• Manage Juniper and Cisco/Dell networking systems
• Maintain Windows Server roles: DNS, DHCP, Active Directory (including Group Policy), Remote Desktop Services, and Hyper-V
• Write and maintain PowerShell scripts
• Upgrade code on Cisco and Juniper switches
• Use HP Device Manager and RMM tools
• Monitor systems with Splunk, Zabbix, and Syslog-ng

Requirements

• Minimum of ten years’ experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a technical discipline (five additional years of SA experience may substitute for the degree)

Pay

Salary range: $78,000 to $250,000 per year, determined by work location, role, skill set, and level of expertise.
