System Administration IV with Security Clearance

Location: Newport, RI | Clearance: SECRET

About the role

Provides senior network system administration and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, IDS, and cryptographic equipment across classified and unclassified networks. This position is designated Key Personnel.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, test, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, content filters, and IDS
• Perform cryptographic equipment and keying material loading, testing, and troubleshooting
• Manage and operate the Network Operations Center, Secure Network Management Center, and help desk
• Draft and update network Standard Operating Procedures for Government approval

Requirements

• DoD-Approved Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 3 certification (e.g., CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or Associate, GCED, or GCIH)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• CompTIA Linux+
• Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Protection training
• Certifications required per SECNAV M-5239.2 for personnel supporting classified and unclassified network infrastructure
• Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level
