About the role

Nightwing provides technically advanced full‑spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services. The company supports customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets. Nightwing is seeking a highly motivated Information Systems Administrator (SA) to join a small team in a dynamic, mission‑focused environment, supporting multiple small to medium Microsoft Server/Windows networks.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, computers, and software infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts and allocate storage space.
• Monitor and tune server/client system performance.
• Install system‑wide software and upgrades.
• Provide desktop support to local users.
• Process and maintain inventory of equipment.
• Collaborate on secure architectures, secure electronic data traffic, information security, and privacy.
• Coordinate third‑party maintenance for client equipment.
• Travel up to 10% OCONUS for field support as needed.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Minimum five years of IT experience.
• At least two years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and Windows desktop operating systems.
• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting on small to medium‑sized networks.
• Solid understanding of information security practices.
• Familiarity with Windows‑based data storage.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and updating system documentation, diagrams, and security documentation.

Qualifications

• Competency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel up to 10% OCONUS for field support.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $99,000–$206,000, determined by the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
